We have arrived at the gates of Paris!

Now 15 min away from the COP21 site where we are going tomorrow. Today, we did 90 kilometers in 4 hours! With a good lunch break inbetween to recharge the bikes' and our own batteries. Our duo works perfectly if I ride one assistance mode higher than Bruce does. This way we run at the same speed and the same energy consumption, which means in practical terms that we swap batteries at the same time. We have arrived at the gates of Paris! In the luxury case of more than enough battery supply, I love riding in Turbo, the highest assistance mode, and with Bruce riding in Sports, we just blow over the roads at some 35 km/h if they are flat. Since we left Kortrijk we had quite hilly sections though. The cycling paths in France have been everything from excellent in and around Lille, to on-and-off in other places, to non-existent on most cross country roads. Nonetheless it's been two good riding days with perfect energy and time management and two of the very few days that we did not get wet :)
